The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY) has officially announced the postponement of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all full-time students.
OSPOLY Iree Postpones CBT for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The test, which was originally scheduled to take place on Thursday, 16 April and Friday, 17 April 2026, has been moved forward by one week. Students are advised to take note of the fresh dates and adjust their preparation accordingly to avoid missing the examination.
New OSPOLY CBT Schedule and Official Dates
The Polytechnic management has confirmed that the mid-semester Computer-Based Test will now hold on the following dates:
- Wednesday, 22 April 2026: The first day of the rescheduled CBT.
- Thursday, 23 April 2026: The second day of the rescheduled CBT.
Reason for the OSPOLY CBT Postponement
The decision to shift the examination dates followed a formal request made by the Student Union Executives (SUG). The primary objective of this extension is to allow defaulting students more time to complete their registration and school fee payments.
The institution has emphasized that this window is a direct response to the leadership’s appeal to ensure that no student is left behind due to administrative or financial delays. Consequently, the school has tied this shift specifically to the conclusion of the registration exercise.
Final Deadline: No Further Postponement
The Polytechnic management has stated categorically that there will be no further venue for postponement after these new dates. Students who have yet to finalize their registration are expected to utilize this grace period immediately.
All full-time students are encouraged to visit the official OSPOLY portal to verify their status and ensure they are eligible for the test before the new commencement date on 22 April 2026.
